Post 5: My Future Job

Since i was a child I've always wanted to be someone related to arts, painting and drawing, but when I grow up I changed that perspective, I have always been indecisive to choose what I can be in life. Now i'm studying geography and I want to work on that, I wish I could have a master's degree but it is a bit difficult, I like the specialization in physical geography, something related to the ocean, the climate or the glaciers, where I can make a connection with the current climate change. Although loving nature and the environment, I wish I could make an illustration course when I finish this career, I mean, not to work on that, just learning in a short time and have the skills to express landscape through art, I would like to be able to illustrate some things that I learned in my career, just for fun, for example drawing the gorgeous glaciers from the south of Chile.  I would not work in an office, I prefer to travel and that's why I chose my career because we have fi

Post 4: Election Day

I’m going to vote for the next presidetial elección because I believe it is important to choose someone suitable, even If you don't like him (or her) so much, there is always someone more decent that can do things better. Also it is very important to focus on politics, although some people don't like it, stay informed about what is happening and what we can decide democratically, as a citizien, my vote can make a difference, it will be a representation from someone that will govern this country, who will make decissions. I wouldn't be a politician, but I have participated in some political instances as a simple person (and I would do it again) but a politician has to go through a lot things, the public opinion it's on you, and you must know about laws, history, and complicated economic issues, well, at least you should because not all politicans have this condition, for me, a good politican besides knowing many things, must be ethical, a understanding person who empathi

Post 3: My Favorite Children Program

Imagen
During my childhood I liked Fairly Odd Parents, I watched it everyday reguriously on Jetix, I was usually alone or sometimes with my parents and they laughed with me, it was very funny. The special thing that the TV show has it was  focused on an ordinary child whose parents never pay any attention or affection to him and his babysitter mistreated him.  He was not happy. What was striking about that, was that he had two fairly odd parents who granted him wishes, but these wishes sometimes were nonsenses and ended up getting him into trouble which was fun. My favorite character is Cosmos because he always saw everything from a good point of view and he did silly things.

Post 2: The Best Concert ever

Imagen
I have never been to a concert by myself, but I did accompany my family and friends to recitals and one which I like the most was from Ana Tijoux. She sang at a manifestation on 8th March, because of the woman’s day in Santiago Centro, where it was a march. I enjoyed that very much because her message was good, I was surrounded by women fighting for the same cause. In addition Ana speaks in all her songs about feminism, politics, racism and I find her a very good artist. I met several of those artists for free, playing music on those kinds of concerts.

Post 1: THE WORST PLACE I HAVE BEEN

Imagen
The worst place I have been but very interesting is located in Paraguay, called "Ciudad del Este". It is located at the eastern end of the Eastern Region of the Republic of Paraguay, it's a very important city for it's economic development. The city is not ugly, I mean, Paraguay is beautiful. We arrived in that country from a long trip and we stayed in the first hotel we found in the center of the city, it wasn't the most vulnerable neighborhood in the area, but neither the most luxurious, we were basically located in the heart of the trade, so there it was a lot of movement of people and traffic. During the day I didn't notice anything weird, although a lot of people were stunner to me, untill all, the movement ended around 3-4 pm, since that hour the streets were empty, and I observed all from my hotel window because my parents didn't let me go out at night.  It sounds like if I had to ask permission, but we were in an unknown country and it was the firs

Some reflections

I didn't expect that this semester 2020 it would be like that, i knew that it would be different, but not at this way. The true is that I can't focus studying while people is dying, much less in my house, I always studied in the library, without distractions.  Maybe the one good thing that happened on this semester was when my father took the covid test and it was negative, I was relieved and it was in the week's break. One situation which is not going very well, is that academically I am very behind, and when I finally catch up the subject, the teachers still giving lessons and tests, so it consumes all my time and it makes me forget about my exercise routine, healthy eating, about taking care of myself in general. But now, i don't even worry so much about passing the exams, the only thing I want now is everyone is fine, healthy, that the government's measures are enough to  people don't get hungry (sounds difficult with the current mandate) and we help each ot

My favorite book

Imagen
Who is my favorite author? I asked this question to myself a while ago, and the answer came quickly to my mind. My favorite autor is Hermann Hesse, he was a german writer, poet, novelist and painter. He wrote aboute great topics, like dark or depressive, topics that he addresses very well in his books. My favorite book is Demian, when i was a teeneager in my 14 years old I read that book and was surprised by the theme, how deep it was in telling the story, the charisma that imbued the characters, when I finished it I thought "what a good book, I'd read it again", one of the few books that has given me mental satisfaction. The last book I read was "Uzumaki" by Junji Ito. It is an adult horror "manga", his illustrations are terrifying and the story is grim and involving. If you like those things (horror, dismal atmosphere and extravagant ilustration) I highly recommend it. It's not that I like dark and depressing things, is just that the r
